About Our Arrangement

The midwives at Roots & Blooms Midwifery rent a clinic room at the center for appointments, but we do not own or manage the facility. The birth house is privately owned and available to all licensed midwives in Southeast Idaho for clients who wish to have a birth center experience.

Facility Fees

If you’re planning to work with Roots & Blooms Midwifery and would like a birth center delivery, we will include a facility fee in our global fee. This facility fee goes directly to the owner of the Idaho Falls Birth House. We add a small fee to cover our midwives’ time and effort in cleaning and preparing the space after each delivery including stocking supplies that we would normally have you gather for a home birth. Beyond this, no additional income goes to our midwives, as our level of care is the same at home and at the birth house.
